Why should I take a Transfer Experience course?

Transfer Experience (UNIV 201) provides an invaluable introduction to you! This elective, one-credit, 16-week class is designed to help you adjust to NIU.

In addition to developing skills necessary to succeed in college — and beyond — you’ll:

• Practice learning strategies through collaborative activities and meet other new Huskies.
• Network with NIU employees and understand where to seek resources for your success.
• Learn how to use such essential online tools as MyNIU, Blackboard and student email.
